Your Role:
- Will be responsible for assisting with compliance and reporting of the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program. Reporting will span the Disaster Recovery group, Business Continuity group, and Crisis Management group.
- Maintain and improve the BCM program reporting used for both internal and external purposes. Determining metrics, converting them to a presentable forma and learning our new software, called Fusion, which operates on a SalesForce platform to create and pull reports.
- The BCM Program may look to undergo certification for ISO 22301. This role will be responsible for assisting with readiness and facilitating the certification process when the program is ready.
- Responsible for the oversight of standard business continuity and disaster recovery compliance tasks. This includes responding to and tracking internal and external audit requests and client audits/ due diligence requests.
- Maintains audit workload and calendar.
- Responsible for reporting on key BCM Program risk and performance indicators
- Reporting on metrics and maintenance of data related to customer queries and audits as well as general program reporting dashboards.
- Coordinates and represents the BCM team for audits.
- May attend and speak for the team during client meetings.
- Contributes to BCM training development and rollout.
- With minimal guidance, assists the BCM team with the identification of risks prior to audits and throughout the year.
- Contributes to major program milestones, such as DR tests, with the rest of the BCM team. May require 3-4 Saturdays a year.
- Assists with development of projects and programs to improve BCM compliance for the company. May complete similar tasks for vendor continuity .
- Contributes to the evaluation of testing protocols each year in response to personnel changes, etc.
- Planning, execution, and post-implementation activities for projects within the BCM team
- Development and regular review of BCP and DR and documentation.
- Maintenance and update of SharePoint portals including data archival.
- As a member of the team, you will utilize OnSolve for internal emergency communications and utilize Crisis 24 for alerting.
- Utilization of online IT service and support tools to search and create Change Orders, Request tickets, and company-wide notifications.
- Scheduling and leading conference calls with teams across many countries and time zones
- No direct reports to start.
About You:
- You have a deep understanding of Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery with applicable experience.
- You have prior audit/compliance experience of 2-5 years, either as an auditor or in a role responding to audits that cover BCP practices
- Familiarity with ISO 22301; experience going through certification preferred.
- You have an understanding of IT concepts and general technologies.
- You have experience of leading conference calls with business and IT staff.
- You have experience using SalesForce platform (a plus).
- You have experience using OnSolve and/or Crisis 24 (a plus).
- You have experience using Fusion Risk Management BCP software (a plus).
- You have proficiency using Microsoft SharePoint.
- You have proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You have complex problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- You have excellent communication and documentation skills.
- You have the ability to be self-directed when required; Self-starter.
- You have Project Management Experience and Skills: You are organized and able to keep track of many tasks at one time. Able to prioritize work according to deadlines. You have availability and willingness to travel occasionally for business
