Job Summary

  • The IT Head of Enterprise Architecture Division is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on the transformation and innovation initiatives for the Bank’s technology solutions and strategies. The role leads a team of enterprise architects in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and maintaining the Bank’s enterprise architecture, cyber security framework, and platform environments aligned with the Bank’s strategies and directives on customer experience, systems performance, scalability, information security, data integrity, and cost optimization.
  • Further, the role keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices, leads the assessment of new or emerging technologies for implementation, and recommends changes or upgrades to current technical environments to ensure the Bank’s compliance to the prescribed IT standards and regulations and help achieve desired business results.

How will you contribute?

  • Designs and develops the Bank’s enterprise architecture and drives alignment that translates the Bank’s business objectives into IT targets focused on customer experience, systems performance, scalability, information security, data integrity, and cost optimization. Defines enterprise architecture standards, processes, procedures, metrics and other tools that facilitate understanding and enable implementation or compliance to the approved architecture.
  • Defines and implements the architecture governance process to ensure that change initiatives align with the Bank’s digital transformation vision and roadmap.
  • Communicates the overall strategy and enterprise architecture with all concerned stakeholders. Leads the development and implementation of roadmap and strategic plans to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while considering business, technical, and delivery constraints
  • Leads the analysis of stakeholder requirements, current state architecture, and process gaps to create a state architecture vision for the Bank with focus on reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, reuse, security, reduced risk, and/or improved business capabilities.
  • Heads all IT innovation initiatives and programs and supports POC activities of ITSSG, DEIG, DSAG, and other concerned units.
  • Works closely with business unit leaders across the Bank for the development and implementation of key initiatives and projects to enforce architecture and security principles and standards, and develop reference architectures and design patterns, minimize duplication, and improve operation across interfacing environments.
  • Leads market and industry researches and benchmarking and presents feasibility analysis on potential transformation and innovation projects to senior management.
  • Provides thought leadership on enterprise architecture, cyber security, and other related topics, developing a forward-looking view of current and emerging technologies and security framework and their impact on the enterprise architecture.
  • Drives the participation of the team in solution evaluation and selection of enterprise software and platforms focusing on the impact on approved architecture and exploring prospective benefits of related setup changes.
  • Manages the system and application blueprints to keep pace with changing industry and market trends and technological advancements.
  • Undertakes any other duties or tasks, which may be reasonably assigned by the ITSSG Head, Chief Technology Officer, or other senior officers of the Bank.


  • What will make you successful?

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT or any related field of studies
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in enterprise architecture framework, processes, & methodologies.
    • Adequate understanding of the bank’s business goals and ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable manner based on audience profile.
    • Proficiency on different system and application integration technologies and techniques.
    • Planning, design, review of systems, applications, infrastructure domains, security, cloud platforms, and other integration systems.
    • System health, performance measurement and review.
    • At least ten (10) years of experience in the areas of application and systems design, requirements analysis, development and maintenance work with relevant exposure to banking operations
