I. PURPOSE

  • Oversee the Engineering team while actively contributing to the upkeep and optimal functionality of the property's facilities and assets
  • Ensure guest/customer satisfaction as Engineering Lead

Ii. Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate floor operations seamlessly among clients, external suppliers, as well as the engineering, housekeeping, and other departments within House of Maharlika
  • Conduct thorough inspections, provide assistance, and oversee the repair and maintenance of property facilities, diligently reporting their current condition and recommending necessary fixes
  • Present comprehensive and detailed options with costing and justifications for proposed solutions/projects
  • Ensure proper implementation of Engineering procedures, preventive maintenance, and tasks
  • Perform general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and auxiliary maintenance
  • Initiate improvement of Engineering procedures
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and availability of materials and equipment, and consistently provide detailed reports on the status of each
  • Update the Engineering Inventory and Asset Management System
  • Facilitate trainings
  • Assist clients and suppliers
  • Anticipate the needs of the team, workers, clients, and suppliers
  • Perform additional ad hoc assignments as directed by the Operations Manager

Iii. Qualifications

  • Minimum Education
  • High school diploma or completed a vocational course related to the role
  • Minimum Experience/Training
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in conducting repair and maintenance in any of the following:
  • Electrical wiring

ii. HVAC

iii. Plumbing

iv. Carpentry

  • Auxiliary Systems (FDAS, CCTV etc)
  • Competency
  • Knowledge of HVAC Troubleshooting and Maintenance
  • Knowledge in Electrical Wiring and Systems.
  • Knowledge in Plumbing, Carpentry, and Welding works
  • Can read technical diagrams
  • Can use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Ability to work well and collaborate in a team
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Good listening skills and can communicate professionally with staff and guests
  • Follow instructions and results driven
  • Attention to details
  • With initiative and flexibility
  • Willing to learn
  • Can work independently or with minimum supervision

IV. WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be amenable to work in Silang, Cavite
  • Work schedule rotation
  • May be required to work overtime
  • Mental demands / physical demands / environmental factors
  • May be asked to assist in other areas as necessary
