You will be part of the team that will provide assessments and clarification of codes and standards to the project teams at Emerson.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Manage the Compliance System, ensuring accurate and complete material compliance data necessary for product and substance compliance analysis.
  • Collect compliance data through supplier and parts management from different supply chain systems and scrub the list based on business unit qualification criteria.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, ensuring the validity of supplier contact information, completing material declaration requirements, and ensuring documents are prepared and completed.
  • Manage customer compliance through product and material compliance analysis and communications.
  • Prepare Product Certificate of Compliance (e.g. EU REACh, EU ROHS, China ROHS, etc.)
  • Find opportunities for improving productivity and enhancing work processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering program.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Environmental Compliance or Quality Analysis
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications and calculate substance content and concentration.
  • Working knowledge of environmental legislation such as ROHS and REACH.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
