Employee Relations Specialist

Brief Description of Duties
1. Serve as primary point of contact for employees regarding employee activities and workplace issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
2. Handle disciplinary procedures by conducting investigations into employee complaints or grievances and provide recommendations for resolution;
3. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction;
4. Advise the management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices;
5. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and manage labor-related documentation and reporting (i.e. DOLE Establishment report, etc.)
6. Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legal requirements and organizational objectives;
7. Conduct policy cascading/roll out to all employees;
8. Prepare and present reports on Employee Relations metrics, activities, and concerns
Educational Requirement:
- BSBA MAJOR IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT/INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS BS/AB PSHYCOLOGY/INDUSTRIAL PSYCHOLOGY
- ANY BUSINESS OR HR-RELATED COURSES
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant Employee Relations experience, with a strong understanding of labor laws Experience in handling employee grievances, with deep familiarity of required notices
- Professional HR certification is an advantage
- With excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, investigation, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook Email
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment on confidentiality
- Can work independently; complies with deadlines
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with diplomacy and integrity May require occasional travel to different centers in Negros Occidental and Oriental.
