We are looking for Electrical Inspectors who will perform the duties of the Owner's Engineer and supervise the execution of electrical construction work on site.

This includes

  • Acting as the prime point of contact with the client for the electrical construction supervision aspects of the project, including progress reporting, safety, financial recommendations, quality control, and design modifications.
  • Building a trusted relationship with the Project Manager, the Client, and the Contractor's counterpart staff
  • Placing emphasis on safe construction practices (Target Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction - leads by example in driving safe practices on site.
  • Using effective Project Management and Control Systems to report on the work progress to the Project Manager.
  • Monitoring the progress of construction against the program and takes steps to ensure the program is achieved.
  • Ensuring that the project quality control procedures are used for the supervision works and monitors it for improvement. Cooperates with audits required in accordance with the contract requirements and company internal systems.
  • Reviewing and commenting on the Contractor's method statement indicating his proposed timing and phasing of various operations.
  • Defining the scope of work of any sub-consultants and ensures that their employment is effectively administered.
  • Identifying software and systems required for the administration of the project construction supervision.
  • Reviewing and auditing any contractual claims raised by the Contractor for review and approval by the Employer.
  • Contributing to the safety and build-ability reviews of the proposed designs.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and adapting construction management and control techniques, procedures, and criteria to suit job tasks, and devises and implements solutions to problems encountered.
  • Ensuring that the Construction Supervision team members effectively identify, manage, and report project risks.
  • Attending regular site meetings to review the completion of works by the contractor against the program and agreed performance objectives.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Responsible for all Electrical including Grounding, HV, MV, LV Cables pulling, dressing, laying and termination, Conduits, Cable trays, Switches, Data & Communication system etc.


Here's what you'll need

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Inspector within the Solar Power Plant sector.
  • Registered Electrical Engineer with valid Professional Regulation Commission License (PRC) is a plus
  • Experience in Electrical Inspections for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiar & Implementation of international standard such as ASTM , IEC , NEC, NFPA etc.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams and Electrical specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
