Key Responsibilities

EHS Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with local and regional regulations
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential EHS issues and implement corrective actions
- Provide guidance and training to employees on EHS policies and safe workplace practices
- Monitor and report on environmental and occupational health performance metrics
- Coordinate Regional Health & Safety committee

Regulatory Coordination:
- Stay up-to-date with APAC regional EHS regulations and standards
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, as needed, to ensure compliance and resolve potential issues
- Ensure compliance obligations are fulfilled

Incident Management:
- Investigate workplace incidents, document findings, and recommend preventive measures
- Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives across APAC sites

Cross-functional Compliance Support:
- Assist in other compliance initiatives, such as business ethics, data protection, and corporate governance
- Collaborate with the global Corporate Risk & Compliance team on various projects and tasks as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Compliance, or related fields
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS compliance, preferably in a regional or multinational organization
- Strong knowledge of APAC EHS regulations and industry best practices
- Experience conducting audits and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and training facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Certification in EHS or compliance management (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is a plus
- Safety Officer 4 preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Effective in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness to engage with diverse teams across APAC
- Hybrid work environment with occasional travel across the APAC region, as needed
- Flexible to address EHS and compliance matters across different time zones
