Your Team's Impact
CallStreet is the leading provider of Raw, Corrected, and Formatted transcripts of Earnings, Conferences, and other various other events’ calls to the investment community. We have coverage for over ~8600 companies for Transcripts, 50K companies for Events.
As an Editor 2, you will be responsible for proofreading raw transcripts of financial events and companies in our coverage. You will be reviewing the work done by Editor 1s, against audio sources, and sources such as press releases, company websites, and public filings. You will ensure the corrected transcript is accurate, comply with established editing rules, and are made available to FactSet clients in a timely manner. You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team’s business goals by meeting your individual targets. You are expected to work onsite three times a week for non-GY shifts and may work from home five days a week for the GY shift.

What You'll Do
- Ensure assigned Raw transcripts are reviewed with the audio and every major, minor, grammatical, & immaterial errors is rectified as per verbatim.
- The Corrected transcripts are to be completed with a minimum quality benchmark which is measured by an error score of 1.6 per 10 minutes of audio.
- Edit the transcript at a TAT of 3.6x or less measured against length of the call. Edit at least 81 minutes during the off-peak, and at least 99 minutes during the peak season for a given shift.
- Back-up for TL (Shift POCs only): In the absence of TL take the lead in interacting and coordinating with FCAs in getting work assigned as per available team size. Assign work to Editors in the shift. Request for open edits in the absence of scheduled work. Be a mentor (when required) for new hires in the team. Capacity management ensuring the team is correctly occupied and business is as usual
- Ensure smooth day-to-day execution and delivery of your individual goals
- Achieve quality, timeliness, and productivity metrics
- Attend all training requirements for process, methodology, workflows, and systems
- Keep track of all communications on updates and new processes and procedures
- Acquire a good understanding of FactSet content, particularly CallStreet information
- Adhere to systems procedures, document analysis measures and database maintenance protocols
- Comply with knowledge alignment activities by participating in Process Knowledge Test
- Exercise ownership and accountability of all assigned tasks
- Adapt to ad hoc business requirements
- Attendance to and participation in meetings & skills enhancement courses
What We're Looking For
- Graduate degree in Commerce/ Business Management/ Finance/Accounting /Economics /Communication/ Journalism or equivalent. Be able to effectively understand the content/market (s) handled
- Good Knowledge of financial markets and accountancy (as needed) to ensure effective understanding of assigned content/market
- Computer Literacy Effectively uses the database and software for collection and processing of content/data
- Researching, browsing the information from company websites, news feeds and stock exchanges. Ensure that the relevant information is captured on time
- Listening Ability: To be able to review the transcript while listening to different accents
- Typing Skills: To be able to type/edit the transcripts faster and accurately
- Strong Knowledge of Financial terms: To understand the context of the calls and terminologies being used as the calls are majorly related to the financial performance of the company.
- Research Skill: To be able to research the relevant Products, Executive names not easily understandable in the audio
- Ability to work under Pressure: The nature of the work is highly tiring both physically and mentally
- Excellent English Grammar knowledge: To appropriately punctuate and edit the transcript
- Exposure to various accents - Editors do work on edits from multiple geographies
- Willing to work extended hours as per the business needs
- Willing to be assigned to other projects
