Position: eCommerce Email & SMS Marketing Specialist

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST

Contract Type: Independent Contractor

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design and execute creative marketing strategies to promote products through impactful email and SMS campaigns. Your focus will be on ensuring all copy and designs align with the brand, conducting A/B testing for subject lines and images, scheduling campaigns in Klaviyo, and analyzing performance data to continuously optimize our email marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with copywriters to create and implement targeted email marketing strategies that resonate with clients' audiences.
• Campaign & Flow Management: Set up, configure, and manage email campaigns to achieve client objectives, troubleshooting any technical issues. You will be a master of our clients’ ESPs, particularly Klaviyo.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, generate weekly reports, and use data insights to refine campaign strategies.
• Client Communication: Keep clients informed with updates, resolve any concerns, and provide training on platform features, best practices, and troubleshooting.
• Integration Management: Oversee integrations with other platforms to ensure seamless data flow for enhanced campaign effectiveness.
• Deliverability Optimization: Monitor and improve email deliverability rates to maximize campaign reach and engagement.
• Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar in ClickUp that aligns with client objectives, promotions, and overall strategy.
• Thought Leadership & Training: Stay ahead of industry trends and share key insights with the internal team during weekly meetings.
• Performance Tracking: Analyze campaign results and provide actionable insights to guide future strategies.
• Regular Client Updates: Communicate with clients through email, Slack, and occasional calls to discuss progress, provide updates, and address inquiries.
  
  

Requirements

• Fluent English (C1): Both spoken and written proficiency.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing or advertising roles, with a focus on email marketing.
• Proficient in using Klaviyo and other email marketing platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data.
• Experience in eCommerce Email Marketing and a solid understanding of direct-response marketing.
• Knowledge of copywriting principles and the ability to collaborate with copywriters effectively.
• Proactive and Independent: Able to work autonomously and manage multiple projects while meeting weekly deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
