- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required for heavy vehicles).
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic laws.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads if necessary.
