DISTRICT AUDIT SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Leads or participates in the engagement planning and preliminary survey of the Unit to be audited by performing pre-fieldwork procedures and preparing supplies, working papers and other materials to be used for audit.
2. Leads or conducts audit fieldwork.
3. Leads or participates in exit meeting with branch employees.
4. Prepares drafts of Audit Reports, acts on review comments of Audit Officers and follows up with auditees on their replies to Audit Observations.
5. Participates in special audits on Branches or Units through investigating fraud cases or irregularities.
6. Leads or participates in reviewing and updating the audit program.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of any Accounting related course program.
2. Building from Within: At least 2 years work experience as an Audit Associate from any of First Standard districts.
3. Excellent customer experience and problem-solving skills.
4. Effective English communication skills, both oral and written. Can speak the local dialect and/or Filipino.
5. Action orientated. Should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
6. Knowledge and skill of modern office practices, procedures, equipment and standard clerical techniques.
7. Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices. Leadership and human resources management skills.
8. Efficient facilitation skills. Should be able to facilitate group discussions.
9. Ability to meet the annual targets set by top management. Achieves department metrics and organizational goals.
