Director, Talent Acquisition (Philippines)

The Director, Talent Acquisition (Director, TA) develops and implements world-class recruitment strategies for the Philippines region. The Director, TA will partner with operations and human resources senior leadership teams to set the strategic direction to fulfill all frontline and professional hiring requests in the Philippines region. This includes responsibility for partnering with the Employment Marketing team to drive top of funnel activity, developing a candidate event strategy to drive walk-in traffic or meet candidates where they are, engaging candidates across all electronic and in-person events/platforms available to keep them engaged and interested and finally, fulfilling all hiring requests within service level requirements for fill dates and candidate quality.

This role will work in a heavily matrixed environment with influence and leadership responsibilities for an organization made up of senior and entry-level leaders and professional and frontline employees.

The Director, TA will lead a team of 2 Talent Acquisition Business Partners (Managers) and 19 recruiters across multiple locations within the Philippines region (with continued planned growth). As a people leader, this individual will be responsible for creating an environment that engages all direct reports and their teams as well as taking ownership for the continued growth & development of the team.

Additional responsibilities include:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic comprehensive recruitment strategies tied to business priorities to attract top talent across all levels of the organization.
  • Analyze market trends and adapt recruitment techniques to remain competitive.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of managers and recruiters.
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to meet results goals as well as to drive specific development actions.

Candidate Experience:

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Identify new, cutting-edge talent acquisition capabilities to attract and engage more high-quality candidates into the process.
  • Implement improvements to recruitment processes based on feedback and industry trends to increase candidate experience and speed-to-hire.

Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with senior leaders in human resources and business functions to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with business goals.
  • Partner with HR to ensure alignment with overall company culture and values.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and make informed decisions.
  • Update senior human resource and business leaders weekly on recruitment activities, successes, and challenges.

Employer Branding:

  • Partner with the employment marketing team to offer ideas and feedback as well as assist with execution of the strategy.
  • Represent the company at recruitment events and networking opportunities.

Compliance:

  • Ensure recruitment practices adhere to legal requirements and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or a minimum 10+ year's related experience in Human Capital/Human Resource Management.
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Director or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance company, client, customer, and employee needs.
  • Strong problem solving, collaboration, coaching, influencing, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce results in a high volume, dynamic, fast-paced environment preferably in a fortune 1000 company.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
