About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of IT to lead our IT department. This role is critical in driving the technology strategy, managing IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, and providing technical expertise to support our operations. The Director of IT will collaborate closely with the executive team and other departments to align IT initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive digital transformation and innovation.
  • Lead and manage IT operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistent performance, communication, and infrastructure standardization across all sites. Experience in managing IT across international or geographically dispersed locations is essential.

IT Operations

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Cybersecurity

  • Assess and improve existing IT infrastructure and systems. Identify areas of weakness or inefficiency and implement scalable, future-ready solutions to support organizational growth.
  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO9001, GDPR).

System Administration

  • Manage system administration tasks, including user access, software updates, and backups.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of enterprise software solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and disaster recovery preparedness.

Project Management

Technical Expertise

  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients.

  • Implement best practices for IT service management and support.

Education and Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and system administration.
  • Strong understanding of BPO or professional services industry IT needs.
  • Experience with cloud computing, ERP systems, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
