Job Description
The Director of Corporate Finance will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the Firm’s global financial operations across multiple geographies, including the Philippines, United States, Canada, and India. This position is responsible for managing and advancing core finance functions such as financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, treasury and cash flow management, internal financial controls, compliance, and intercompany cost allocations. The Director will drive financial integrity and operational excellence by ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable financial information across all HC Global entities.
In addition to managing day-to-day financial operations, the Director will support strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital investment projects, financial modeling, scenario planning, and firm-wide performance reporting. This role requires a strong business acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to navigate complex financial environments across multiple regulatory jurisdictions and time zones.
The Director will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, shape strategic decision-making, and ensure alignment with the Firm’s overall business objectives. As a global leader, the Director will also foster consistency in financial processes and governance across regional teams and promote a culture of financial discipline and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for such duties and responsibilities that are generally associated with this position, including, but not limited to, the following:
Enterprise Planning & Strategy
- Leads short- and long-term financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting efforts across all HC Global entities and two additional affiliated entities outside of HC Global;
- Monitors operating performance versus plan and conducts in-depth variance analysis to support informed decision-making;
- Supports the development and evaluation of business cases for capital investments, new ventures, and strategic growth initiatives;
- Advises senior leadership on financial strategies related to cost optimization, capital structure, and return on investment.
- Oversees accounting operations, internal controls, and financial reporting for HC Global and two additional legal entities, ensuring consistency, compliance, and financial accuracy;
- Has direct responsibility for the India accounting team and actively assists with financial operations in the United States and Canada;
- Ensures timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable standards and firm policies;
- Maintains compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions;
- Manages intercompany billing, cost-sharing methodologies, and global cost allocation frameworks.
- Leads global cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity planning across all managed entities;
- Manages banking relationships and treasury operations, including foreign currency exposure and risk mitigation strategies;
- Supports the negotiation and administration of credit facilities, both domestic and international;
- Oversees investment of surplus funds in alignment with firm policy and market conditions.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and internal performance reports for HC Global and related entities;
- Collaborates with finance and accounting teams across the Philippines, India, the United States, Canada, and affiliated entities to ensure accuracy, alignment, and timely reporting;
- Supports global tax planning, compliance, and coordination with external tax advisors;
- Provides management with actionable financial insights and KPI analysis to drive business performance.
- Develops, implements, and maintains strong internal control systems and financial governance processes across all operating entities;
- Leads risk assessments, identifies control gaps, and recommends mitigation strategies;
- Coordinates with external auditors during annual audits and ensures timely resolution of audit recommendations;
- Ensures full compliance with all legal, tax, and regulatory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partners closely with Service Delivery, Operations, Human Resources, and other teams to ensure financial discipline and alignment with organizational goals;
- Acts as a strategic business partner to firm leadership, delivering financial insights, scenario analysis, and decision support across key initiatives;
- Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across global finance functions and entities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy;
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required;
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, including at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity;
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks for general ledger management, reporting, and reconciliation; ability to navigate and optimize its use for multi-entity and multi-currency environments is required;
- Proven experience managing financial operations for multinational organizations or shared services environments is highly desirable;
- Exposure to fund services, professional services, or alternative investment sectors is a plus;
- Strong knowledge of both international and local financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP);
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple legal entities and prepare multi-currency consolidated financial statements;
- High level of integrity, accountability, and results orientation, with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
