Job Responsibilities

  • To assist with the establishment of departmental business plan and setting of Key Performance Objectives for the Casino Cage and Count area.
  • Assist in developing operational requirements for staffing levels in each of the Casino Cage’s and Count’s, identifying cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, regulatory agencies, and compliance teams to facilitate audits and investigations when necessary.
  • Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of business improvement processes which enhance operational systems efficiency.
  • Generate accurate financial reports and statements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain and revise the policies and procedures pertaining to Cage and Count operations. Ensure all duties are performed in strict compliance with relevant policies and procedures. i.e. Philippine Government (PAGCOR) regulations, AML Policy and Casino Operational Rules and Guidelines (CORG) of NUSTAR.
  • Monitor that the department as a whole maintains awareness of and reports on matters consistent with the compliance and risk management program.
  • Establish ongoing networks and relationships with relevant authorities and establish and maintain a strong rapport with our people and our customers.
  • Maintain the control of Casino’s flow of cash and chips and gain authorization from the Director – Cage & Count for the purpose of monies and chips, as necessary.
  • Act and ensure that all of our management team acts as ambassadors to VIP guests and premium players, including providing personized service in regard to Casino finance matters.
  • Ensure that the Management team coach and develop a direct rapport with staff to ensure performance and succession planning requirements are met, by identifying training requirements of our people and utilize various management tools, as well as actively participate in the recruitment and selection of appropriate personnel.
  • Recommend and / or execute management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign or discipline employees.
  • Performs other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience within cage and count operations, casino finance, or a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, gaming compliance, and industry standards.
  • With at least 10 – 15 years of experience.
  • Adopts and implements new approaches and practices to meet changing circumstances.
  • Anticipates and assesses issues, risks or opportunities facing the company and applies effective, creative solutions.
  • Adheres to and supports the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values.
  • Displays a high commitment to improving customer service.
  • Has proven employee and customer orientation.
  • Motivate others to achieve business objectives and common goals.
  • Encourage people to work as a team.
  • Clearly understands the strategic Vision of the company and how it impacts on the business unit/ function.
