Position: Direct Response Copywriter

Working Hours: will be discussed with the client, but the shift will likely be during the graveyard shift.

Salary Range: 1000-1500 USD (Monthly)

About The Job

We are seeking an experienced Direct Response Email Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in crafting persuasive email copy, specifically welcome emails and campaign emails that drive conversions in a competitive market. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-impact email campaigns that resonate with target audiences, increase engagement, and generate measurable results.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Write compelling and persuasive direct response email copy, including welcome emails, promotional emails, drip campaigns, and re-engagement emails.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective email strategies aimed at increasing conversions and customer retention.
• Conduct audience research to tailor email messages to specific segments and personas.
• A/B test various email elements (subject lines, body copy, CTAs) to optimize performance and conversions.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure alignment between email content and visual components.
• Analyze campaign performance and use data-driven insights to refine copy and improve results.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in direct response email marketing.
• Write within brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent voice and tone across all email communications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather campaign objectives and refine messaging based on feedback.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) in direct response email copywriting, with a strong portfolio of email campaigns that demonstrate high open and conversion rates.
• Expertise in writing welcome emails, drip campaigns, and promotional emails in competitive direct response marketing.
• Understanding of key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and how to improve them through effective copy.
• Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
