Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years overall experience with at least 1 full year writing about parties and events (preferably weddings).
- 3+ years in a similar role.
- Portfolio of published articles and digital media assets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or G-Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Meet deadlines consistently.
- Well organized.
- Deep understanding of parties and events space, especially weddings.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
- Experience with CMS (e.g., WordPress, Social Pilot).
- Research skills and adaptability in writing.
- Experience in social media management.
- Content scheduling and generation.
- User interaction and audience growth.
- Monitoring social media performance.
- Proficient in digital marketing (SEO, content, social media).
- SEO tools experience (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
- Data interpretation using Google Analytics.
- Keyword research skills.
- Understanding of link-building strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or similar discipline and/or hands-on experience in the parties and events industry.
- Provide digital content strategies.
- Provide subject matter expertise in driving success.
- Deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies).
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our platform/products/services.
- Ensure all-around brand consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
- Manage client input and approval process.
- Proofread, and edit blog posts before publication.
- Coordinate for article illustrations/graphics.
- Manage website and update website content regularly.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Optimize content strategically for search engines to enhance online visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Manage Xelure and clients’ social media accounts.
- Promote content on social media.
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our clients’ content and recommend new topics.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as required.
