The Derivatives Trader is primarily responsible for managing the proprietary trading activities of the bank’s derivatives products and supporting Treasury Sales and other units of the Bank by providing pricing and structuring for clients’ derivatives requirements. The role also entails providing market color to the sales force for their own use as well as market developments for the information of various internal and external clients.

- Achieves derivatives trading income targets through proprietary trading and arbitrage activities
- Provides structuring and competitive pricing of derivative products to both internal and external clients
- Ensures that all transactions and processes are compliant with the Bank’s rules and regulations, limits and other audit requirements including external rules and regulations (BSP, SEC, etc.) to maintain the Bank’s high regulatory compliance rating
- Attends forum of financial markets associations and government regulatory bodies to keep abreast with industry developments and requirements to ensure the Bank can perform accordingly
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Engineering, or Business-related course
- Master's degree or graduate-level certificate program in one of these disciplines is preferred
- Must be a Certified Treasury Professional
