Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.
Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of database systems and contribute to the overall efficiency of data management processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Monitor database performance and implement optimizations as necessary. - Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and updates. - Document database configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Database Operations. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL). - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database queries. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Operations. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
