Database Administrator

Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing databases, performing database functions, and ensuring data integrity. Your typical day will involve administering databases, implementing new databases, and providing support for database-related issues. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Ensure data security and integrity - Optimize database performance - Implement backup and recovery strategies Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Database Administration - Strong understanding of database management systems - Experience in database design and implementation - Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures - Proficiency in SQL query optimization Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Database Administration - This position is based at our Manila office Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
