Database Administrator

Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

THE WORK:

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and testing databases. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing new databases, performing backup and recovery tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of database management systems.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform

Responsible for team decisions

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams

Ensure data security and integrity

Optimize database performance

Implement database backup and recovery strategies

Here’s what you’ll need:

Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Database Administration

Strong understanding of database management systems

Experience in database design and implementation

Proficiency in SQL and database querying

Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Database Administration

This position is based at our Manila office
