The Role: SAM Data Steward
We are actively recruiting and interviewing for future positions in Analytics Team.
The SAM Data Steward is responsible for the Data Quality and Golden Rule compliance of our customer records cross – systems. He / she should have a good business awareness and knowledge how our data is defined, produced, identified, maintained, delivered, and consumed (incl. data quality, security & confidentiality rules). There is also a need to monitor Data Quality KPIs, leads & executes data corrections and identifies pain points around our Data lifecycles to share with the Data Domain Owner and other stakeholders.
What will you do?
Related to Data Quality:
- Global Data Quality improvement activities
- Data correction & cleansing (correction of DQC’s - Data Quality Checks) and duplicate clean up (match & merge)
- Treatment of "Service Now" support tickets (Incident management & user requests), solving of Data Quality issues
Operational tasks:
- Salesforce account update processing & follow-up (AUR)
- Data monitoring & tracking (based on local & global Data Quality dashboards & KPI)
- Validation of IT platform or tools evolutions or improvements (UAT testing)
- Data migration & updates from not connected sources (if required)
- Knowledge /competency transfer to other stakeholders
- Contribution to projects or other activities (analytics, data quality improvements, local tools…)
- Local ERP management
- User support & trainings
Who would be successful?
Requirements:
- University/College Degree
- Experience with CRM System (preferably Salesforce) with an emphasis on Master Data maintenance, analysis, and cleansing
- MS Excel experience / knowledge – intermediate
- A sound understanding or ability to learn sales process such as Account Management, Opportunity Management, Activity Management, etc.
- Keen attention to detail
- Must be willing to work mid shift and willing to host or attend early calls or calls late into the evening
- Ability to conduct research into data issues as required
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
- Has ability to analyze large datasets
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Ability to understand Spanish is a plus but not required
- Python and SQL knowledge are a plus but not required
