Data Operations Analyst

The Level 1 Data Operations Analyst position at Manulife offers an excellent opportunity for individuals beginning their career in data engineering. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in data management and infrastructure, contributing to the organization's data initiatives. Position Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support data collection and storage efforts under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Engage in training and mentorship programs to develop technical and analytical skills.
• Help ensure data accuracy and consistency through routine checks and validation.
• Work with data team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)
• Amenable to work on a FULL ONSITE SET-UP
• Amenable to work in any shift schedule assigned (day, mid, and night)
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Any internship experience or academic projects related to data or technology.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages, preferably Python or SQL, with necessary querying skills. If no background in Python, other programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, or Java may be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. Relevant coursework or projects are a plus.
• No licenses required.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic data concepts and tools is advantageous but not required.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS.
• Understanding of data warehousing basics, including data pipeline development, data storage, data governance, data analytics, and data modeling.
