The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Data Integration Engineer to be based in Philippines, to join our Group Technology Team.
Reporting to the Head of IT Strategy, Architecture & Governance, the Data Integration Engineer will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, optimizing and maintaining ETL / ELT processes using Microsoft tools (Azure Data Factory, LogicApps etc.) targeting the Snowflake ecosystem. Knowledge of other ETL tools such as Alteryx would also be beneficial
Knowledge of data-warehousing using Snowflake would also be desirable to ensure provision of available, reliable, and structured datasets for both reporting and analysis purposes. Experience with Data visualization through Power BI would also be a plus.
This role requires extensive knowledge of data pipelines, data engineering processes and business intelligence best practices. A successful candidate will be able to transform complex business needs into efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Primary – Data Integration And ETL
- Collaborate with internal data owners and other IT specialists to identify data requirements and design data integration solutions.
- Develop ETL / ELT pipelines to process datasets from internal and external sources into Snowflake using Microsoft tools such as Azure Data Factory and LogicApps.
- Provide management and oversight of external integration IT teams.
- Utilise other tools such as Alteryx as needed.
- Ensure that all code is fully reviewed and tested prior to deployment.
- Ensure that datasets staged into Snowflake are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain oversight and management of all integration SDLC and monitoring of all production workflows.
- Support Data Governance and Quality within the integration environment
- Support workflows in Snowflake, ensuring data integrity, optimization, and security.
- Ensure Snowflake environment is optimized to integrate with upstream data-sources.
- Support delivery of Data Governance and Quality data to the Snowflake environment.
- Creation of dashboards with PowerBI to support monitoring of pipelines.
- Work closely with business units including finance, marketing, supply chain, and sales to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Liaise with data governance teams to ensure adherence to best practices in data management and security.
- Maintain documentation for all data pipelines/ transformations, ensuring clarity and consistency for both technical teams and end-users.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and industry standards related to data security and compliance.
- Previous experience with CSV and GxP requirements would be a plus.
Education / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Microsoft Power Platform / Azure Data Engineer certification a plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in integration processes, with a focus on building and managing dataflows into Snowflake or similar systems.
- Advanced hands-on technical experience with Azure Data Factory, LogicApps, and other similar tools.
- Experience with SQL and/or Python required.
- Experience with Alteryx would be beneficial.
- Experience with Data Governance including compliance, security, privacy and access.
- Ideally, proven expertise in building datasets to enable reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal).
- Personal accountability for outcomes and providing high-quality service to business users
- A strong work ethic and a well-organized self-starter.
