We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Support Engineer - to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a good technical background and excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing technical support to our internal customers, troubleshoot network, applications and system issues alerted or reported, supporting and maintaining the accuracy of device data and monitoring systems.

Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Support Engineer - to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a good technical background and excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing technical support to our internal customers, troubleshoot network, applications and system issues alerted or reported, supporting and maintaining the accuracy of device data and monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow process to resolve network, operative system, and application issues documented.
- Monitor network performance and identify potential problems with the infrastructure.
- Documents and track all support cases.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams.
- Maintain comprehensive and current documentation for all processes and procedures.
- Provide first-level technical end user support as a backup role when it is needed.
- Ensure IT assets on CMDB are always up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Ensure that monitoring services and assets are effectively tracked and managed on monitoring tools.
- Generates performance and device reports using a variety of tools.

- Associate’s degree in information technology, related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in technical support or related technical field.
- Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Understanding fundamental networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, ICMP, DNS).
- Understanding fundamental Datacenter components and Security events.
- Desired technical experience on monitoring tools like (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Understanding fundamental Virtualization and Physical environments.
- Excellent in problem analyses and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Proactive and self-motivated team players, who take ownership of their work.
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule that includes different shift schedules.
