About the Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated and independent Senior Data Engineer to join our client's healthcare data team. In this role, you will design and implement scalable data solutions that integrate diverse electronic health record (EHR) and clinical systems. You will own projects end-to-end, from selecting the tech stack, designing data pipelines, and building a unified data warehouse to delivering robust solutions with minimal oversight. This role is ideal for candidates with strong healthcare domain knowledge, a data engineering background, and the ability to drive outcomes independently against strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion frameworks for multiple EHR and clinical systems
• Build reusable connectors, integration patterns, and ETL or ELT pipelines with high reliability and data quality
• Architect and maintain a unified, flexible data warehouse schema that supports diverse and evolving data sources
• Implement monitoring, logging, and error-handling across data workflows
• Own projects end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, documentation, and delivery
• Partner with engineering leadership to define milestones, timelines, and dependencies
• Take initiative in selecting the appropriate tech stack and designing solutions for complex healthcare data challenges
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, including complex data integration projects
• Strong experience with modern data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar
• Expertise in API-based data ingestion and developing custom data connectors
• Proficiency with contemporary data pipeline tools and orchestration frameworks
• Previous experience with healthcare data or health-tech platforms
• Demonstrated ownership mindset, ability to work independently, and drive major projects to completion
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing multi-tenant or multi-source ingestion frameworks
• Background in unified or generalized data modeling
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and CI or CD practices for data platforms and pipelines
