The Cybersecurity/SOC Analyst is responsible for protecting our Australian client’s information systems and data from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security
measures to prevent future attacks.

- Strategy Execution - Specific to our CA Strategic Pillers
- Security Tracking: Ensure that all security implementations and actions are tracked and documented to maintain accountability and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Security Assessments: Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify potential weaknesses and implement improvements.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Threat Monitoring, Detection, and Incident Response: Continuously monitor the company's networks and systems for security breaches and vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Security Reporting: Prepare reports on security risk, metrics, compliance status, and incident response activities.
- 4-5yrs work experience in Cybersecurity roles, ideally in a combination of Cybersecurity Operations and Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of Cybersecurity/Information Security Frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Security Tools. Possessing Microsoft Technology and Security certifications are desirable but not a must (SC-200, Security+, CISA, etc.).
- Understanding of Privacy Frameworks such as the (Australian) Privacy Act 1988, (Victorian) Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, GDPR, etc. is desirable but not a must.
- Familiarity with using ticketing systems such as JIRA.
- Working knowledge of DevSecOps and experience with SCA, SAST, and DAST tools.
