Cybersecurity Principal Project Manager

Job Description

General purpose:

We are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager for the Enterprise Cybersecurity Services team who will be responsible for managing one or more highly complex Enterprise Cybersecurity Projects. We need someone innovative and enthusiastic to join our team. As a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager, you’ll work in an agile environment, leading projects from brainstorming to completion, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met. You’ll also maintain up-to-date security policies for the team, prepare executive presentations, and generate regular team metrics. Understanding the company’s Cybersecurity and Business strategies is crucial for delivering projects aligned with our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads and manages a large, complex project(s) or program to deliver business objectives in alignment with corporate strategies.
• Delivers on cybersecurity projects using the best approach as set out within any project methodology processes.
• Interacts with senior leadership and key stakeholders to establish schedules and objectives in alignment with business roadmaps.
• Builds close partnerships with project sponsor(s), key project stakeholders and senior Cybersecurity management.
• Directs all internal and external project team members (from business and IT) as well as vendors.
• Acts as a liaison between business customers and Enterprise Cybersecurity solution delivery teams.
• Responsible for preparing the financial costs, benefits and ROI for projects and programs.
• Works with a global team across multiple time zones. 
• Ensures projects are planned and executed in-line with the IT PMO methodology:
• Project team roles and responsibilities
• Project lifecycle and Phase gate approvals
• Risk and Issue identification, management, and contingency planning
• Change control management
• System and User Acceptance Testing
• Deployment planning, management, and transition to operations
• Training: Business and IT (as needed)
• Understands BI (Business Intelligence) reports and does critical data analysis.
• Has solid Entrepreneurial Skills such as business acumen, customer centricity, judgement, risk management, learning agility, process knowledge, network performance, emotional intelligence, ownership & commitment, servant leadership and stakeholder partnership.
• Monitors Quality Assurance of project deliverables and compliance.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced cybersecurity project managers and project team members.
• Advocates project management methodology principles and IT PMO awareness across organization.
• Accepts projects that have already started and takes them to a successful conclusion.
• Monitors and manages team and vendor performance and escalates effectively.
• Has a solid grasp and application of basic and advanced project management principles including the Scrum Agile framework.
• Prepares and maintains all project status reports and schedules; tracks milestones/deliverables, critical paths and dependencies; re-sets expectations as needed in consideration of project progress/outcomes.
• Carries out other assigned tasks as agreed within Enterprise Cybersecurity team.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Years of experience:

• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of project management.
• A minimum of 5 years of managing information/cyber security projects experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience from multinational/global organization.
• Experience with Infosec Tools. 
• Proven experience in managing information/cyber security projects.
• Strong understanding of information/cyber security principles and best practices.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
• Experience working at a company with a global footprint and a large enterprise environment. 
• Experience with explaining and writing technical details to a non-technical audience. 
• Min 5 years of project management experience or in roles with project management component
• Mergers, Acquisitions, Integration and/or Divestiture experience a plus
  
  

Education and Training:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Formal training in Project Management disciplines is required.
• A recognized Project Management certification is preferred.
• Scrum/Agile certification is preferred.
• Cyber Security Certification like GIAC GCPM, CISSP, CRISC is preferred.
  
  

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Expertise in Microsoft Project and ability to mentor others
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Experience of managing a budget and of costing projects, capital, expense, quantify project benefits, ROI.

• Proven examples of transformation and automation of processes resulting in resource, time and cost reduction while also significantly reducing risk for the company
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion (on time, on budget, and high quality)
• Building and maintaining relationships with the business units and key project/program stakeholders
• Effective communication at all levels and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Positive and proactive, inspiring teams to attain goals and pursue excellence.
• Ability to work under pressure and conflicting objectives.

• Waterfall project management methodologies, tools, and capabilities
• Data gathering and analysis to understand gaps and issues in processes and tools.
• Broad, cross-functional experience in semiconductor manufacturing a key differentiator.
