Cybersecurity Associate Manager

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

• Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel
• Assist in implementing security policies and standards, collaborating with the security team
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating and documenting as necessary
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance
• Aid in compliance efforts, assisting in audits and ensuring documentation is up to date
• Contribute to incident response activities, participating in investigations and reporting
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends
• Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 5+ years in a Cyber Security role
• Proven experience in information security
• Proficiencies in risk management, compliance, and security technologies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
  
  

Other Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
