The Customer Program Specialist I serves as a key liaison between internal teams and customers, ensuring seamless execution of program requirements. This role supports quoting, order fulfillment, and issue resolution while maintaining customer dashboards and performance metrics. It coordinates cross-functional efforts across operations, engineering, and quality to meet customer expectations, drive on-time delivery, and manage program risks. The specialist contributes to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction through proactive communication and efficient program management.

UCT is looking for a talented Customer Program Specialist I to join us in Cebu!
The Customer Program Specialist I serves as a key liaison between internal teams and customers, ensuring seamless execution of program requirements. This role supports quoting, order fulfillment, and issue resolution while maintaining customer dashboards and performance metrics. It coordinates cross-functional efforts across operations, engineering, and quality to meet customer expectations, drive on-time delivery, and manage program risks. The specialist contributes to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction through proactive communication and efficient program management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Predominantly an internal resource. Occasional phone contact with customer for status updates; responsible for escalation to the appropriate site or account representative.
- Provides pre- and post-customer service and support.
- Knowledge of program management tools and procedures. General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.
- General knowledge of sales, customer support, marketing, including market research, market sizing, pricing, marketing communications, and product launch.
- Coordinates with various functions within the company, including NPI, operations, engineering, and quality managers, to ensure customer requirements are handled appropriately.
- Maintain Customer Dashboards, scorecards, and the UCT ERP system.
- Ensure on-time shipments and manage customers’ OTD targets.
- Obtain RFQ packages, EAU, drawings, etc., for Quoting.
- Prepares quotes for CRM team review and approval
- Coordinate material issues between customer, UCT Purchasing, and UCT Supply Chain Groups, monitoring and escalating liability issues.
- Submit claims for fees & follow up with customers.
- Attends regular production and other meetings as CBO department representative.
- Must be organized and data/fact-driven. Present business cases using data.
- Exceptional analytical skills as the CPM moves from CPM 1 to CPM 4 levels
- Ability to take a business result. Know if it meets the goal or not. Develop the root cause and corrective action plans to drive an action plan to close the gaps and meet/exceed the goals
- Attention to detail, exceptional organization, and follow-up skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers.
- Strong influence-management, negotiation, leadership, and assertiveness skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office suite, particularly Excel and MS Project) and database (SAP or related ERP at the site) experience.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in technical, business, or financial discipline, or equivalent experience for Level 1
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in technical, business, or financial discipline
Work Experience:
- 1+ years’ experience in a semiconductor or similar industry.
