The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Customer Marketing Associate Manager to join our Philippines Customer Marketing team on a full time basis.

Reporting to Senior Customer Marketing Manager, the Customer Marketing Associate Manager is responsible for building, planning and executing nationwide Customer Marketing and Shopper Marketing activities that deliver the Business Plan for the year.

Key Accountabilities And Performance Indicators Include

  • SMAP (Sales & Marketing Activity Plan)
    • Lead the SMAP calendar to ensure timely execution of KAMs, trade marketing and marketing strategies, through monthly cross-functional meetings, timeline management, target setting & activity reviews and cycle meetings (iNova reps & 3rd Party Merch)
    • Develop & lead BTL campaign activities to deliver the Business Plan and maximise Retailer investment to deliver the activity sales target.
      • Work seamlessly across Sales, Marketing, Legal, Field team and Supply Chain to ensure each activity is maximized.
      • Use Activity Planner (AP) to scope, set targets, lead creative & POS design.
      • Manage agency partners to bring to life Fit for Purpose POS to maximise budget and instore presence.
  • Budget management
    • Realise cost savings through streamlining artwork, agencies, POS design, execution.


  • RGM (Revenue Growth Management)
    • Promotions – Responsible for working with the sales team to ensure submission of promotion evaluation/ post activity report to monitor ROI of trade promotions and measure the effect of in-store activities. Lead monthly Price/Promo review meetings and recommend and model improved promotion mechanics to gain better ROI and monitor pricing compliance/ladder. Manage causal commentary (local/regional).
    • Trade Spend - Manage and conduct monthly reviews on trade spend expenses vs budget to achieve maximum returns (Monthly Price/Promo Meeting). Manage causal commentary (local/regional).
    • Place – Distribution & Space - Provide support in defining, tracking and setting quarterly targets by rep for Must Sell Assortments and Shelf Strategies based on data provided by Data Analytics Manager.
    • Market Review - Monitor, analyze, review together with KAMs and marketing brand performance and activities by channel provided by merchandising team, IQVIA, Nielsen data (if applicable).
    • Events - Support in planning and execution of trade events, conferences and cycle meetings.


  • 3rd Party Merchandising team management - Lead and manage merchandising team for Pharmacy and Modern Trade channels.
    • Ensure proper manpower headcount and fielding of Merchandising team
    • Develop Space Strategy – Master Planogram per brand per channel and compliance
    • Identify KPIs and monitor team’s performance (daily/weekly/monthly to target)
    • Ensure product Availability, Visibility and Planogram compliance & training
    • Monthly report/ update on KPI achievement/dashboard of merchandising team linked to sales


  • Market Visits
    • Partner KAMs and/or merchandising team to review compliance, execution standards and growth opportunities
  • Retailer Visits
    • Attend store visit and customer meeting with Key Account retailer to learn about their business
