The Customer Intelligence Manager (Insights Business Partner) acts as an internal consultant to the business and the primary point of contact for customer truths, fostering collaboration to drive informed decision-making and actionable strategies. This role requires skillful stakeholder management and end-to-end execution of research studies may involve various approaches such as surveys, focus group discussions, and other emerging methodologies.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management: Engage various stakeholders (including executives, leaders, etc.) and understand their business challenges and opportunities, help them identify research objectives, provide data-driven solutions and strategic recommendations.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Leverage multiple data sources to create comprehensive narratives that simplify complex business issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Business Growth Focus: Identify and unlock new business opportunities by crafting compelling stories from ad-hoc research projects using diverse methodologies.
- Presentation of Research Findings: Communicate complex data and insights in a clear, concise, and engaging manner through presentations, reports, ensuring that stakeholders understand the implications of the research findings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with other teams (customer data analytics, portfolio management, strategy, etc.) to gather comprehensive data and insights that drive strategic decisions, innovation, and enhance customer experiences.
- Market Research Effectiveness: Accuracy, relevance, and the extent to which research findings lead to actionable recommendations and subsequent business actions
- Market Research Time & Cost Efficiency: Ability to deliver high-quality insights and actionable data while minimizing the expenditure of time, money and other resources.
- Data Accuracy and Reliability: The precision and reliability of the collected and analyzed data, ensuring that the information provided is trustworthy and valuable for strategic decisions

- Research Design: Ability to design effective research programs, particularly for B2B requirements
- Analytical Thinking: Strong numerical and analytical skills applied in a commercial context, with the ability to derive insights and recommendations from complex data.
- Technical Proficiency: Competent in using various data analysis and visualization tools, programming languages, and big data platforms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey research findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving: Agile problem-solving skills with a test-and-learn mindset, capable of learning quickly from failures and adapting solutions accordingly.
- Creativity: Resourceful and creative in designing research methodologies and interpreting data.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with stakeholders.

- Curiosity: Naturally curious with a strong desire to explore new ideas, trends, and methodologies.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Statistics, Business Economics, or other social sciences.
- At least 5 years of experience in market research, with a strong focus on client servicing and custom resear
- Experience in both consumer and B2B research (qualitative and quantitative)
