We are in search of a seasoned Creative Services Studio Manager who can lead and grow a dynamic team of designers and project managers, ensuring the successful delivery of branded content on a global scale. This leadership position is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing creative teams within large-scale organizations. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the company to build strong partnerships, understand business needs, address challenges, and oversee how our brand is visually represented around the world. Success in this position requires excellent communication, collaborative leadership, and a continuous drive to enhance both design quality and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the studio’s operational and people leader, guiding both team success and the quality of creative output.
- Partner with marketing leadership to align design efforts with strategic business and marketing goals.
- Manage the team’s day-to-day operations, including assigning work, mentoring team members, and conducting performance reviews to foster a positive, results-driven culture.
- Proactively ensure the studio is equipped to consistently deliver outstanding creative work.
- Address and resolve escalated or sensitive issues with internal stakeholders while building trust and supporting project success.
- Utilize studio tools and systems to monitor workflows, assess operational performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Balance workload demands by forecasting needs and coordinating resources across in-house talent, contractors, and external partners.
- Uphold rigorous quality control standards and offer feedback to maintain high-level design execution.
- Establish and manage external creative partnerships to strengthen studio capabilities when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree, certification, or equivalent practical experience in design, marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in creative services, including at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma; knowledge of Workfront is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of design processes across print, digital, and event mediums, along with a grasp of current marketing trends and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
- A strategic mindset that connects daily operations with broader business goals.
- Proven success in building and leading high-performing, inclusive creative teams with a culture of accountability and open feedback.
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate diverse stakeholder needs and turn challenges into opportunities for team growth and learning.
