Job Title: Creative Design Specialist
Job Summary
The Creative Design Specialist will play a key role in strengthening Belo’s brand presence through impactful design and visual storytelling. This role is responsible for developing creative assets across digital, print, and on-ground platforms that drive brand visibility, enhance customer engagement, and support revenue-generating initiatives. The specialist will collaborate closely with marketing, business development, and other cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that align with Belo’s brand identity and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop graphics, layouts, and multimedia assets.
Apply and maintain branding systems across all visual materials.
Integrate current design and storytelling trends into creative outputs.
Design and adapt content for digital and social media platforms, ensuring optimized formats, engagement, and brand consistency.
Prepare content for web, print, video, and social media platforms.
Create both graphic designs and basic motion/animated content, with a focus on social media–ready assets.
Deliver high-quality work within tight timelines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Mac OS applications and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
Strong grasp of branding principles, aesthetic/design trends, and visual storytelling.
Ability to adhere to branding systems and ensure consistent visual representation across all platforms.
Capable of producing high-quality design and content under tight deadlines.
Awareness of current trends in design aesthetics and content marketing.
Expertise in creating social media–tailored content that drives engagement and optimized performance.
Understanding of proper formats for web, print, video, and social media applications.
Proficiency in developing both static (graphics) and dynamic (video, animation) media, with adaptability for social media use.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in finding creative solutions.
Educational Background
Graduated from a 4-year college course in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts Major in Advertising, Marketing, or other related courses.
Experience Requirement
At least 2–3 years of experience as a Multimedia Designer or in a related creative design role.
