- Strategic Leadership & Market Development
- Develop and execute a winning country sales strategy aligned with regional commercial priorities.
- Prepare and deploy annual sales plans, ensuring achievement of ambitious sales targets within budget.
- Continuously monitor market trends, identify and capture new sales opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Expand market share and enhance customer experience across retail and digital sales channels.
- Drive turnover and profitability through effective sales pipeline and portfolio steering, pricing strategies and sales policy management.
- Set aggressive sales targets, monitor KPIs, and steer the organization toward stretch sales goals.
- Manage P&L for the country based on agreed sales performance and budgets, including contribution margin, budgets, and headcount.
- Ensure operational excellence through forecasting, deployment, and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to overstock reduction and optimize resource allocation to accelerate sellthrough.
- Implement systematic go-to-market approaches and sales standards to maximize commercial output.
- Lead, develop, and coach the local sales team, fostering accountability and a strong performance culture.
- Identify and nurture talent for future leadership roles
- Promote continuous improvement and skill development.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between sales, marketing, and service functions.
- Act as a role model for company values and culture.
- Guide teams through organizational changes and drive success in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) environment.
- Share best practices with other Country and Regional Business Directors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular visits and strategic engagement.
- Act as an escalation point for national customers and provide strategic sparring for channel directors.
- Represent the company toward internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in managing sales and/or country-level operations, ideally in a multinational environment(open to candidates from any industry; preferably retail)
- Proven track record in driving profitable growth
- Sound knowledge of the local market in retail and project-based business
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills; empathetic and performance-driven
- Self-motivated and passionate to lead in a multi-cultural environment with strongcommercial drive and ability to work self-directed
- Ability to thrive in a VUCA environment and manage change effectively
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; local language proficiency is a plus
- Must be willing to work onsite inBGC, Taguig City
