Job Summary
- Oversees the tasks of the section in performing transaction costing, cost-benefit analysis, and profitability analysis of new and existing products and services of the Bank; assessing/evaluating the cost and profitability analysis related to product development and enhancement; and opening and tallying of projects subject to sealed biddings. Facilitates the development, implementation, and improvements in the Bank wide Risk Adjusted Profitability Measurement (RAPM) report including the related Cost Allocation and Revenue Sharing exercise.
- Plans and organizes the year-long activities of CSS about the establishment of product or service cost and conduct of cost-benefit or profitability studies.
- Assigns product costing and cost-benefit or profitability analysis projects to the Cost Analysts and determines the direction and thrust of the product costing and cost-benefit or profitability analysis projects based on priority level.
- Conducts Independent Product Costing and/or Profitability Study
- Assess or evaluate the Costing or Profitability Analysis made by product managers or other business units
- Facilitates the development, implementation, and improvements in the bank-wide RAPM, Cost Allocation, and Revenue Sharing report
- Leads the opening and tallying of sealed bids
- Coordinates with Policy Review and Development Section and other concerned units for updates and recommendations on changes in the policies and procedures relative to the sealed bidding, RAPM, cost allocation, and revenue sharing frameworks of the Bank
- Conduct regular meetings with the Cost Analysts to discuss the status of assignments and other work-related matters.
- Maintains all reports and data to ensure they are kept up-to-date. Protects all forms of proprietary information
- Graduate of a 4-year course preferably in accounting/ business administration or any equivalent; Certified Public Accountant is a plus
- Knows the Bank’s business lines, organizational structure, existing business processes, and bank products and services; Demonstrates a clear understanding of the Bank’s cost drivers
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience; project management; banking and management accounting exposure; expertise and proficiency in cost allocation/ and product/service costing is a plus
