COST CONTROLLER

Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar major
• At least 3 years experience working in the same role in a Restaurant Business
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Have experience with Accounting System, POS System and Cost & Inventory System
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• High level of accuracy and attention to details with strict sense of meeting deadlines

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze the monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) report
• Oversee inventory levels to minimize wastage and pilferages
• Conduct a regular stock takes and surprise spot check.
• Check and ensure all menu items have a recipe.
• Work closely with Chefs & Restaurant Manager to ensure that the menu items are priced correctly and to track food waste and identify areas where cost can be reduced without compromising quality.
• Reconciliation of intercompany transaction including but not limited to transfer of Raw Materials
• Continuously study weaknesses in internal control implemented at the Restaurant and provide suggestions for improvements
• Responsible for maintaining the Menu Pricing, Consumption, and POS systems
• Update selling prices in POS as per the instruction from authorized persons
• Coordinate with restaurant management and finance to sort out issues about F&B.
