Title: Cost Accounting Specialist (Laguna)
The Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for reviewing financial, balance sheet accounts, conducting variance analysis, standard costing, transfer pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
The Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for reviewing financial, balance sheet accounts, conducting variance analysis, standard costing, transfer pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Reviews significant variance on major profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.
- Updates system set-up of standard cost and transfer price table.
- Gathers and maintains actual data on manpower costs and operations provision.
- Participates in cross-functional projects within supply chain and provides insights on financial impact.
- Gathers, validates, and processes data using financial analysis tools.
- Gathers, organizes, and maintains historical data related to budget preparation and identifies one time-off and recurring transactions.
- Gathers and maintains current and historical financial data needed in the preparation of financial reports.
- Track internal order of the capital expenditure and conducts inventory count.
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent courses.
- With at least one (1) year of work experience in product cost accounting or cost management.
- With at least two (2) years of work experience in production or inventory planning operation in a food manufacturing industry.
- Preferably, a licensed Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor
- Possess good communication skills, both in oral and written, as well as leadership skills.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, attentive to details, and able to think out of the box
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid set-up in Canlubang, Laguna.
