About the role


We are seeking an experienced Corporate Insurance Sales Specialist with a strong focus on Acquiring and managing the growth of new business partners to join our dynamic team. As a Corporate Insurance Sales Specialist you will be working with the Brokerage Team and play a crucial role in expanding our growing list of partners, reinforcing Igloo's position as a leader in the insurtech industry and advancing our mission of making insurance accessible and affordable across diverse markets.


Job Responsibilities


  • Business Development & Growth
  • Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities across Igloo’s suite of insurance products.
  • Develop strategies to expand Igloo’s market presence and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups and high conversion rates.
  • Client & Partner Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, fostering strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand their needs and position Igloo’s products as effective solutions.
  • Strategic Market Insights & Reporting
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide regular updates and forecasts to leadership on pipeline status and sales performance.
  • Internal Collaboration & Execution
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of partner solutions.
  • Contribute to product improvement initiatives by sharing market feedback and insights.
  • Promoting Igloo’s Portfolio
  • Educate clients and partners on Igloo’s insurance offerings, policy updates, and value propositions.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferably from Business Development or Client Acquisitions/Building fields
  • At least 5 years of Account Management, Business Development, or Client Acquisitions experience, preferably with proven Acquisition and Development experiences
  • In-depth knowledge of local insurance products, regulations, and market trends
  • Ability to provide tailored solutions and identify sales opportunities
  • Prior experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally with a mix of experience in MNCs and start ups
  • Monitor industry trends, keeping stakeholders informed about new products and updates
  • Critical thinking skills and growth mindset
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, brokers, and partners
