About the role
As a Supply Planning Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth flow of materials and supplies for our North Asia operations. Your key tasks include developing supply plans, managing materials replenishment, and conducting supply review meetings to address any discrepancies. You'll collaborate with various departments and suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and support regional requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work with diverse teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
What you will be doing
- Coordinates daily priority planning of deliveries with transport operators from each supply site, based on materials requirements planning (MRP) to meet customer needs.
- Supports the execution of daily scheduling and capacity confirmation between supply points and outbound distribution, as well as maintaining bulk material master settings by region for the DRP process.
- Applies best practice stock management principles for real time production posting and inventory movements.
- Communicates and links marketplace activities with production priorities.
- Supports the collation of all bulk material requirements for export, ex gate sales and field requirements into a weekly supply plan by production site.
- Effectively captures and communicates delivery and manufacturing data to key stakeholders as required.
- Assists in implementing the weekly master production schedule and manages the daily MRP and DRP processes.
- Periodically reviews product master data and conducts monthly supply review meetings with key stakeholders.
What you will bring
- Relevant Degree related to industrial engineering or supply chain.
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning in an MNC environment (preferably with a global organisation).
- Highly organised and customer focused.
- Basic understanding of MRP and knowledge of SAP or other ERP system, Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint is an advantage.
- Possesses integrity and builds trust both internally and externally, demonstrating business intellect and a competitive spirit.
- Exudes confidence, shows courage in decision-making, and is open to feedback.
