About the role


Join our team as the Coordinator - General Accounting where you'll play a pivotal role in executing specific tasks across designated processes and regions. What you will be doing


People Leadership:

  • Drive process training initiatives within workstreams.
  • Ensure compliance with GBS strategies, policies, and regulations.


Process Leadership:

  • Collaborate on process improvement projects.
  • Establish and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control standards.
  • Support smooth transitions and integration of processes.


Operations:

  • Meet KPIs and ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide detailed performance reporting, including issue resolution and KPI tracking.
  • Handle data recording and analysis for general ledger record-keeping.
  • Manage Balance Sheet Reconciliations and maintenance.
  • Perform end-to-end Fixed Assets and lease accounting management.
  • Oversee Fixed Assets and Intercompany Processes.
  • Execute Month-End Activities and reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure stakeholder needs are met within agreed SLAs.
  • Represent as needed in stakeholder meetings.


Ad Hoc Duties:

  • Participate in OHI Surveys and Employee Engagement Activities as directed.


What you will bring

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience within the Finance / Accounting department of a large corporate organisation
  • Possess strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and internal policy.
  • Well versed with ERP and other business / accounting tools
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills (proficiency in conversational and business English language both written and verbal).
