Reporting to the Contract Strategy team, the Contract Strategy Specialist will be responsible for drafting and coordinating contract change management. This role interfaces with many departments and provides a point of contact for all types of client-facing contract documents, primarily Work Authorizations and Change Orders. This role also does a significant amount of research and analysis on contract components. At its core, your job will be to craft contract documents to evolve current client contracts, audit contracts to support decision-making efforts, and prepare reporting to help the team manage the workload most efficiently.

About the Job
Reporting to the Contract Strategy team, the Contract Strategy Specialist will be responsible for drafting and coordinating contract change management. This role interfaces with many departments and provides a point of contact for all types of client-facing contract documents, primarily Work Authorizations and Change Orders. This role also does a significant amount of research and analysis on contract components. At its core, your job will be to craft contract documents to evolve current client contracts, audit contracts to support decision-making efforts, and prepare reporting to help the team manage the workload most efficiently.
As Contract Strategy Specialist, You Will…
- Utilize contract lifecycle management (CLM) software to initiate, track, and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Implement best practices in CLM systems to streamline workflows for MSA, SOW, Change Orders, and NDAs.
- Conduct audits of contract repositories using CLM tools to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Oversee and compile summary reviews of documents during each stage of the contract process.
- Identify key contract milestones and action items associated with each milestone.
- Lead and participate in contract research “deep-dives” to summarize and identify areas of opportunity.
- Coordinate with the Contracts Team on establishing, tracking and updating document control processed for all accounts.
- Coordinate the execution of legal documents via digital signature software (e.g. DocuSign).
- Manage tracking software of all open and closed contract documents, their respective deadlines, and Status.
- Post-secondary education and/or prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, legal operations, or commercial contract management.
- Proficiency in contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools such as Ironclad or DocuSign CLM.
- Highly experienced in using standard office software and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel) and GSuite (Docs and Sheets), with strong expertise in applying markup language, commenting, and review mechanisms to facilitate effective contract review and collaboration.
- Post-secondary education and/or prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, legal operations, or commercial contract management.
- Excellent written/research, proofreading, grammar, and critical analysis skills. Please consider your resume as a sample of your work.
- Ability to work both independently and within a remote-first team environment; periodic on-site work is expected with prior notice.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced work environment and switch gears quickly between projects.
- Experience in Contact Center operations is a bonus.
- Attention to detail - This role ensures that contracts are complete, logically sound, and have passed all quality checks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills - you must be able to cultivate strong working relationships at all levels of the company, communicate effectively, and write meticulously.
- Excellent English writing skills are required - you will regularly interact with individuals at the Vice President level and above.
- Demonstrated resilience - you thrive when you have to organize projects, overcome challenges, pivot under pressure, and manage multiple competing deadlines.
- Get it done attitude - you’re a highly motivated self-starter with a track record of “figuring it out.”
