The Contract Specialist Shall Be Responsible For
- Ensure contracts are clear, fair, and legally binding, protecting the interests of the Employer.
- Monitor the performance of contracts to ensure all parties fulfill their obligations.
- Resolve contract disputes and issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
- Provide advice and guidance on financial and contractual matters to the project team.
- Ensure submission of financial reports as required by ADB and the government.
- Perform other duties that will be required by the employer.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, business or other suitable or equitable related education.
- Post-graduate degree in related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience as Contract and/or financial management specialist in the feasibility study, detailed engineering design or construction supervision of road and/or bridge projects
- Minimum seven (7) years professional experience in handling international financing institutions or organizations’ financed projects using FIDIC Contracts for infrastructure projects.
