Your Role:

As a Content Moderation - Trainer, You Will

• Lead the onboarding and training of new Content Moderation Agents, ensuring they understand platform guidelines, moderation tools, and internal processes.
• Serve as a senior-level moderator capable of performing all core moderation duties when required.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and respond to real-time operational questions to support team performance.
• Review user-generated content (images, videos, text, live streams, voice, etc.) to ensure compliance with community guidelines, local laws, and platform policies.
• Identify and remove illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content, or escalate to higher-level review teams when necessary.
• Monitor real-time and live content, ensuring rapid response to flagged or high-risk materials.
• Detect trends or recurring patterns in content violations and provide actionable insights for prevention.
• Manage and update region-specific sensitive word lists to align moderation with cultural and legal standards.
• Track training progress, moderation metrics, and performance reports to evaluate team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with policy, legal, trust & safety, and other internal teams for escalations, updates, and continuous process improvement.
  
  

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Proven experience in content moderation or online risk management.
• Ability to train, mentor, and onboard new team members effectively.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, especially in English (reading and writing).
• Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools.
• High attention to detail and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
  
  

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience in Trust & Safety, Policy Enforcement, or Digital Operations.
• Background in training, coaching, or instructional design.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and report trends in content moderation.
• Familiarity with evolving social media trends and regulatory environments.
• Ability to adapt quickly to policy and platform updates.
