Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the planning, coordination, and implementation of construction projects from start to finish.
- Monitor project progress, identify any risks or concerns, and implement necessary corrective steps.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure that project requirements, quality standards, and safety laws are followed.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to guarantee that materials, equipment, and supplies are delivered on time.
- To manage project paperwork, schedules, and reports, use AutoCAD and top project management/construction management software.
- Manage the project/construction budget, including spending tracking, vendor contract negotiations, and cost-cutting initiatives.
- Manage project budgets, track spending, and generate cost predictions that are accurate and timely.
- Create project plans that include the scope, budget, timetable, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that project requirements are completed on schedule and within budget.
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management or construction management experience is required.
- Capability to lead and see through project teams of diverse sizes.
- Professional certificates (for example, PMP, COSH, CMIT) are preferred.
- Solid knowledge of formal project management approaches
- Budget management knowledge
- Show great leadership abilities.
- Superior interpersonal communication and listening skills
