What the role entails

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Of Our Concept Artist

• Responsible for fulfilling the direction of the Art Director, ensuring the concept art aligns with the overall vision.
• Create high quality game assets and produce required concepts and layouts including game mock-ups, environment designs, and other artistic elements required for the game.
• Support the Art Director in offering feedback and revisions as needed to maintain a consistent art style and assist in refining artwork through critiques and paint-overs.
• Effectively communicate complex visual intentions to the wider Art team, clearly conveying design ideas and concepts to ensure team alignment and consistency across all art elements.
• Plan, estimate, prioritize time frames, and track progress using designated tracking tools: manage tasks and deadlines effectively, ensure the timely completion of artwork and keep the team updated using tools like Shotgrid.
  
  

What We Ask Of You

• Minimum of 5 years experience as concept artist with working knowledge of industry standards, workflow, and the ability to handle complex design challenges effectively.
• Excellent drawing skills to create high-quality concept art, sketching ideas, and develop initial visual concepts.
• Solid knowledge of fundamental illustration skills such as composition, perspective, and colour theory to create aesthetically pleasing and effective artwork.
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop to create digital artwork, mock-ups, and illustrations.
• Experience in creating style guides to maintain a consistent visual style throughout the project and ensure alignment with the Art Director's vision.
