Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to ensure that our company adheres to all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and legal obligations within the beauty and cosmetics sector. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance policies and procedures, managing documentation, and ensuring that all products, processes, and business operations meet applicable regulatory requirements such as FDA, ISO, and local government regulations.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teamsincluding product development, R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and legalto maintain a high standard of compliance across all stages of product development and commercialization. The successful candidate will proactively manage compliance risks, lead audits, and foster a company-wide culture of regulatory awareness and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure full compliance with FDA, ISO, and other relevant local and international regulations applicable to cosmetics and beauty products.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update company policies and practices accordingly.
- Product Compliance Management:
- Review and approve product formulations, labeling, packaging, and marketing claims to ensure regulatory accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate product registrations, certifications, and renewals with relevant authorities.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation, product dossiers, safety data sheets, permits, and certificates.
- Ensure proper filing and accessibility of regulatory records.
- Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance readiness.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and legal teams to integrate compliance standards into product development and operations.
- Provide expert advice on regulatory matters and support business decisions.
- Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for internal teams.
- Promote awareness of regulatory requirements and best practices across the organization.
- Regulatory Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and industry associations.
- Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and communications with government agencies.
- Experience: Minimum of 57 years in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs, preferably within the cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Business, or any related field. Advanced certifications in compliance or quality management are an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in compliance documentation, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Competencies:
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
