How will you make an impact in this role?

This position will play a key role in providing meaningful Management Information System (MIS) to stakeholders throughout the organization as well as external examiners, making sure that the deliverables resulting from Compliance reviews and RBST Validations are of quality, and maintaining the Second Line Compliance Testing (SLCT) Archer solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the end-to-end Quality Assurance process for the Compliance Reviews and RBST Validations
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance performed on Finding Closure Validations
  • Manage and respond to requests received via the ICT Mailbox
  • Manage the ICT Process and quarterly control testing
  • Become a subject matter expert for the testing methodology/ICT Manual/RBST V Manual to provide guidance and/or training to the ICT team
  • Identify leading practices and drive improvements for the compliance testing processes
  • Create and maintain workpaper templates
  • Fulfill and manage requests from auditors and examiners
  • Create the periodic and ad-hoc reporting for the Board Committees, Senior Management and Compliance Leaders, and ICT team
  • Assist ICT management with refreshing testing manuals, guidelines, and policies and procedures
  • Provide regular operations updates to the ICT team
  • Maintain the team’s SLCT Archer solution
  • Execute on special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal/external audit, internal control, or other testing function (preferably in a supervisory, auditor-in-charge, or similar role
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize, work in a constantly changing and deadline-driven environment, and challenge the status quo/think outside the box
  • Experience or familiarity with Compliance risk including working knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations governing American Express businesses
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining MIS/reporting
  • Ability to effectively influence without direct authority
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people in a way that inspires, develops, and delivers results
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated integrity, innovation, teamwork, and excellence
  • Extensive business process experience in the financial services industry, including an understanding of related products, services, features, economics, and key regulations
  • Strong presentation and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Be self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a proven ability to work independently or within a team environment as required
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work in a matrix environment and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills, identifying data sources and inputs and types of analysis required
  • Ability to analyze ambiguous data and identify potential discrepancies and/or risk
  • Relevant audit and compliance professional certifications are preferred (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) etc.).

  • Location: BGC Corporate Center 2, 5th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
  • Workplace Flexibility: Full time. Must be amenable to follow a hybrid work arrangement (onsite and work from home)
