Opportunity Overview

The Universal Robots R&D team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Customs Compliance Engineer to focus on customs classification in close collaboration with Universal Robots design team

• Support Universal Robots team in Denmark in classification activities
• HS and ECN Classification of direct, indirect, and off-line shipments
• Creation and maintenance of classification codes in PLM/ERP systems
• Engage with product teams, Operations and Sales for ease of import/export activities.
  
  

Create And Maintain

• Technical description supporting classification and auditing.
• Supplementary description for PO’s to support customs handling
• BTI activities
• Record keeping of shipments and share classification with external resources (E.g. forwarder companies)
• Handling Inward Procedure for service activities.
• Support Service Hubs with local customs matters.
• Travels when needed to Denmark for building product and team knowledge

• Working knowledge or experience with the EU and US export control regulation
• Practical experience with setting up/managing customs activities.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of customs regulations.
• Knowledge of International Trade / Customs / Trade Compliance / Tariff Classification.
