As a Web Hosting Associate, you will deliver customer service to clients and customers of an American publicly traded Internet domain registrar and web hosting company, all via phone or chat.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resolve customer issues and upsell
- Identify and relate to various customer needs and scenarios
- Provide customer resolution/consultation with cutting-edge solutions in a friendly, confident and knowledgeable manner
- Remain updated in client and industry-led processes, technology applications, utilities, and products
- Utilize various client-based tools and applications for customer management and servicing
- Transfer customers to appropriate departments when required
- Conduct data entry, documentation, and case management
- Work and partner with others within a team-based environment
- Achieve and maintain required metrics and goals
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with hosting platforms such as Linux or Windows
- Familiarity with website scripting languages as PHP, databases such as MySQL, network protocols like SSH, FTP and SFTP, SMTP protocols – POP/IMAP/Active Exchange differences
- Knowledge in DHCP, DNS, TCP/I[, internal server error and resolution
- Experience with BPO Tech, Sales, and web hosting for at least six months is required. If no Web-hosting background, knowledge in handling any tech voice accounts
- Finished at least 2 years in college (or High School Graduate + relevant work experience)
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (Internet and website technologies)
- Willing to work in night shift or shifting schedule/ Holidays/Weekends
- Good customer service and problem-solving skills
- Willing to work on-site
